Compared to Syngas

Syngas is primarily made up of carbon monoxide and hydrogen gases. Syngas can be produced from almost any kind of hydrocarbon, including coal, oil and natural gas, by the application of high temperature and steam.

Syngas can be burned, separated into carbon monoxide and hydrogen or converted to a liquid fuel by processes like the Fischer-Tropsch process. Syngas can also be converted to methane, methanol, ammonia and other chemicals.

The production of Syngas can produce substantial polluting emissions, including H2S. World production of Syngas is estimated at 200 billion cubic meters annually. World production of Syngas puts an estimated 300 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually. Burning Syngas can also produce other polluting emissions, including NOX.

We believe that TrueFuel is a superior fuel to Syngas. The following table shows the superiority of TrueFuel to Syngas.
